As you know we offer gradings 4 times a year. Our current grading syllabus has been available to download from the website for many years, however we noticed that non members have been using our syllabus (possibly for their gain) and we've decided to remove it from the website. 

We are getting the syllabus turned into a booklet and a "gym copy" will be made available for student use. 

In addition to this, you will be able to purchase your own copy for just £4.99. The booklet is a bullet point guide to what's involved in each grade. A5 and 42 pages long!!

Lauren Biddulph - Sandee Superstar of the month

Well it's been officially announced, Sandee, one of the worlds leading manufacturers of Thai Boxing Equipment has awarded Lauren the "Sandee Superstar of the Month" award in recognition of her recent achievement and overcoming adversity in her life.

Lauren wins a set of designer gloves worth £75 and plenty publicity via sandee's website.

Great Day at the Northern Open

On Sunday 2nd February a team of five juniors travelled just north of Manchester to take part in the Celtic Challenges Northern Open.

This was the first time that we have attended the event and we were delighted that Lauren came away with a first place in her weight division.

Kobe Embuido had a cracking fight, I had him ahead on points throughout the bout but unfortunately the judges rules against Kobe. Looking back at the video it was close and I think his opponent had the upper hand in the clinch.

Daisy Taylor and Yzabella were in the same category, Daisy took an eight count in the second round following a knee just above her hips. She fought back winning the next three rounds but lost overall on points. Yzabella made it to the final and took on the winner from Daisy's bout again just losing on points.

Tilly had a really good semi final, she was stronger than her opponent although probably not quite as refined, she beat her opponent and took her place in the final along side a girl who had taken a 'buy' to the final. Tilly was exhausted and couldn't make it past round two.

Lauren won her fight easily and took on the title of Northern Open Champ 2014 for her age and weight division.
